Among the main chemical products, the output of ethylene decreased by 8.1% year-on-year, the output of primary forms of plastic, synthetic rubber, and synthetic fiber increased by 0.9%, 12.8%, and 3.1% respectively; the output of caustic soda increased by 7.2%, the output of soda ash decreased by 0.2%; and the output of chemical fertilizer decreased by 13.7 %, Of which nitrogen fertilizer and phosphate fertilizer decreased by 14.9% and 14% respectively, and potassium fertilizer increased by 3%; pesticide output decreased by 3.6%; rubber tire casing output increased by 10.2%;

 

From January to August, the added value of the chemical industry increased by 8.7% year-on-year, and the growth rate dropped by 0.8 percentage points year-on-year. Among the main products, ethylene production was 12.05 million tons, an increase of 5.5%. The output of primary forms of plastic was 53.5 million tons, an increase of 7.4%; the output of synthetic rubber was 3.52 million tons, an increase of 7.2%; the output of synthetic fibers was 30.12 million tons, an increase of 8%. The output of caustic soda was 21.42 million tons, an increase of 6%; the output of soda ash was 16.84 million tons, an increase of 0.5%. The output of chemical fertilizers was 49.28 million tons, a decrease of 0.3%; of which, the output of nitrogen and potassium fertilizers increased by 0.9% and 5.4%, respectively, and the output of phosphate fertilizers decreased by 3.9%. The output of pesticides was 2.49 million tons, an increase of 2%. The output of rubber tire tyres was 61.21 million, an increase of 9.5%. The output of calcium carbide was 16.82 million tons, an increase of 2.9%.

 

价格 Among the key chemical products monitored, the prices of most products have increased from last month. In August, the average price of caustic soda (protopine) was 2,250 yuan / ton, up 5.1% from the previous month and the same period last year; soda ash was 1,490 yuan / ton, up 2.1% from the previous month, and 2.8% year-on-year. Urea was 1,200 yuan / ton, down 4% from last month and down 28.6% year-on-year; domestic diammonium phosphate was 2,700 yuan / ton, up 3.8% from last month, and down 6.3% year-on-year. The calcium carbide was 2,330 yuan / ton, up 9.4% from the previous month and down 0.9% year-on-year.
